Dr Peter Ifeanyi Obiakor (BSc, MSc, PhD) is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over 40 years of experience in the energy industry and a solid academic background. His sphere of influence and expertise spans multiple sub-disciplines across Physics, Geology, Geophysics and IT. His career began in 1984 as a Lecturer in the Anambra State College of Education after which he moved to University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he made significant strides in High Energy Physics and Geophysics research. He then ventured into the oil and gas industry, first with Schlumberger- Geco-Prakla as a Seismologist and then as a Senior Geophysicist and Business Development Manager with Alolis Geosciences and Mabon Nigeria Ltd respectively. He joined Chevron in 1997 and went on to hold several technical G&G and leadership roles in Exploration, Asset Development, Seismic Acquisition, Processing, Geophysics Specialty Services, Geohazard Assessment and IT/Data management. Dr Obiakor retired meritoriously from Chevron in 2017 and has since been actively involved in several major capital projects within the energy industry.

Dr. Ernest Chu Nwapa (BSc, PhD) is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a renowned energy magnate, with over 40 years of national and international experience in petroleum engineering, project management, leadership and people development. His career started in 1983 and spans over 2 decades working for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on several engineering projects in Nigeria and playing key roles in design, supervision and project management. In recognition of his excellent leadership skills, He was appointed as the pioneer Executive Secretary/ CEO of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), the sole agency responsible for the implementation of the Nigerian Content Act signed in 2010. In his 5-year tenure at the Board, he prioritized local content for the Nigerian oil and gas industry and achieved many industry successes, including the development of in-country manufacturing, heavy fabrication, dry docking and subsea capabilities. He also championed several strategic national programs, such as the development of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Park Scheme (NOGaPS), a pilot line pipe mill, and implementation of the Nigerian Content Entrepreneurship & Youth Empowerment Program. He is actively involved in energy consulting and the propagation of the local content concept to other sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Mr. Victor Uruaka (BSc, MSc, PhD-in view) is a seasoned construction and infrastructure consultant with over two decades of strategic and hands-on experience across complex capital projects in Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. He has received several certifications in leadership and transformation from globally respected institutions. His work spans multiple sectors including oil and gas (CAPEX & OPEX), real estate development, and major infrastructure such as bridges, high-rise buildings, dams, power installations, and data centers. He has worked with companies like PERI GmbH Germany and is currently an Executive Director of UIS Group. Victor has established a solid reputation for delivering value across both greenfield and brownfield projects by integrating technical expertise, operational insight, and transformative business strategy. He brings deep understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles - from feasibility and planning, to execution, commissioning, and operations; ensuring every stakeholder benefits from scalable, efficient, and cost-optimized outcomes. Victor brings a unique blend of financial acumen, engineering sector insight, and executive leadership.

Mrs. Adaobi Olaye (LL.B (Hons); LL.M (in-view) is a seasoned administrator, business development and data protection expert, with over 20 years cognate experience in the IT and energy sector. Her sphere of influence and expertise spans IT Governance, Regulatory Compliance and Data Privacy Consultancy and she seamlessly bridges the gap between technology, law, and ethical business practices. Adaobi’s multidisciplinary background spans financial services, FMCG, oil and gas, and the rapidly evolving tech sector, where she has guided organizations in aligning regulatory frameworks with strategic brand objectives. As a trusted advisor to multinational corporations, governmental agencies, and NGOs, Adaobi specializes in business development, data privacy protection, cybersecurity, IT governance, and business application consulting. Her approach emphasizes tailored solutions that prioritize transparency and consumer trust, moving beyond generic compliance to foster meaningful stakeholder relationships. Adaobi is a global champion for ethical data practices and policy development. She chairs several community platforms and fosters collaboration amongst experts in technology, law, and academia.
